End Condition Transition

Here is a solution to transition end condition slopes over a station range vs. between template intervals.

The problem: Abrupt transition of end condition slopes between template drops.
Template interval is every 10’. By default the end condition slopes transition between adjoining template drops (351+90 to 352+00)

Desired solution: Linear transition of end condition slopes over a station range.

To accomplish this:

1. In Roadway Designer, Select End Condition Exceptions
2. Define start/stop station and side for transition
3. Click Add
4. Select the added entry Click Edit. Review/edit as necessary
   Note: you must ‘Edit’ the end condition transition to activate the entry.
5. Click OK, a dynamic display allows viewing of begin/end solutions
6. Click OK
7. Remodel the solution
