An often overlooked method to enhance productivity for repetitive tasks is editing the Popup menu. You can add frequent tasks – including civil tasks – to the Popup to increase your productivity. To accomplish this, select any menu item and right-click on the task. At the bottom of the list, you will see the option to Customize Ribbon.

The Customize Ribbon dialog will open when selected. To customize, you will need to Import Local Copy to create your individual Popup menu.

Once imported, go to the Customize Ribbon part of the dialog on the right side. Click on Popups and copy. You will see the action is pending. Click the Apply button and the change will become permanent. You can now edit your individual Popups menu.

When looking at the default Popup menu, you can see the icons to update.

Expanding the Popups menu, you can right-click the icons to turn them on or off, and remove or add new buttons.

From the list on the left, you can add any buttons, including the civil function buttons. By clicking Apply and pressing spacebar, a customized Popups menu will be created.
