OpenRoads Designer Tip: Place Temporary Dimension Line
The ability to view horizontal distances and slopes as you step through your section vie can help evaluate the design and transitions.
Horizontal Temporary Dimension lines Vertical Dimension lines can be placed in a section view.
To begin, highlight the corridor and pause. The Corridor option pop-up menu will appear. Select the second icon for Corridor Views.
Hit the down arrow, and select Open Cross Section Model.
Click in an open View, or open a new View.
Hold down the right mouse button to open a context menu, where you will find options for Temporary Horizontal and Vertical Dimensions as well as a Remove All option.
Follow the prompts and pick a location for the Horizontal and Vertical Dimensions.
Select Remove All Temporary Dimensions to remove.
