New in MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 1) is the ability for an existing attachment to have its attachment method changed without having to detach and then reattach the reference. By default the Orientation column is hidden in the References dialog.

1. Open the References dialog box.
2. Right click the column header and add Orientation from the list.
3. Left click the Orientation name in the dialog and select the new Orientation from the list.

   Geographic orientations will only be available if the reference file has a coordinate system defined.
