The accelerating rate of change for technology makes it tough to stay on top of your game. This has never been truer in the world of CAD. Think back to the days of CAD simply meaning electronic drafting. Obviously this is no longer true, now we mix in the design process and terms such as BIM, machine control grading, and integration with GIS, Google, and other software applications. The challenge we all face is not only how to manage the rapid changes but also how to educate ourselves and others on the details of those changes.
