Welcome back, Ben

At the beginning of the month, we welcomed Ben Johnson back to the EnvisionCAD team! Ben first joined EnvisionCAD in 2014 and took a break in 2017 to homeschool his growing family. He’s back and eager to be a part of the Autodesk CAD management, development, and support team. Ben has been using Autodesk products since 1994, is a Certified Drafter by the American Design & Drafting Association, and has been a CAD Specialist in numerous industries. Additionally, he has design experience in the aerospace and product design fields and has project experience in field surveying and data collection including construction stakeouts, and as-built surveying and documentation. He has been a team member on projects involving stormwater design systems, floodplain management, wastewater management systems, earthwork volume estimates and cost estimates, grading and construction plans and details, and rendering and visualization for marketing. Ben is also experienced GIS technology using ESRI ArcGIS software and has experience converting and using data between CAD and GIS software.

REMINDER: Bentley Support for V8i Applications to be Discontinued at the End of December

Heads-up: All versions of V8i applications prior to SELECTseries 10 will move to “Discontinued Support” status on January 1, 2020. V8i SELECTseries 10 applications will also change status, moving to “Expiring Support” on January 1, 2020, and to “Discontinued Support” on January 1, 2021.

Bentley cannot ensure the security and privacy for your organization if you continue to use software that is in “Discontinued Support” status so now is the time to move to the CONNECT Edition software.
