Can be taken with either the InRoads or GEOPAK V8i SELECTseries 4 or SELECTseries 10 editions.
Designed to be an introduction to Bentley’s OpenRoads technology. Much has changed since the introduction of OpenRoads, including new tools and streamlined workflows, parametric design elements, dynamic 3D modeling, and more. Even the way design information is formatted and stored has changed. All of these improvements represent a leap forward for Bentley’s civil design applications. But with so many changes comes the need for users to change the way they approach their designs and interact with the software. The goal is to introduce many of the OpenRoads tools and workflows necessary to produce a road design using OpenRoads software. We will not be covering design fundamentals or any of the advanced functionality. Rather, we’ll be looking at OpenRoads fundamentals, new features that have been added, and the new ways you’ll need to approach your civil projects.
Students are responsible for providing software licenses when attending any of EnvisionCAD’s open enrollment classes. Students who provide their own hardware are offered a $250 discount on registration fees.
